Jackie Robinson was the man who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier on April 15 1947. A Hall of Fame player who was the also the recipient of the National League's first Rookie of the Year Award that same season Robinson would go on to lead the Dodgers to six World Series appearances during his 10-year career in the big leagues winning it all in 1955. This lot features a beautifully framed-and-matted in-uniform black-and-white 8"-by-10" photograph of Robinson during the early 1950's.
