Jack Nicklaus is quite simply one of the greatest golfers who ever played. With 18 majors to his credit the "Golden Bear" remains in a class by himself. This lot includes a pair of autographed Bostonian model golf shoes worn by the incomparable Nicklaus. He signed both of the shoes in black marker on the top of the toe area. The right shoe tagged with Muirfield Village Golf Club sticker. Nicklaus designed that golf course which hosts his annual Memorial Tournament on the PGA Tour. The style of these shoes dates around 15-20 years so could have likely worn them circa late 1990's to mid-2000's during the Memorial playing as an exempt legend of the game (after all it's his course). Or perhaps he wore them for a Senior PGA event.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
