Awesome original Associated Press 8x10 wire photo from October 5 1951 picturing 3 images in sequence of the devastating injury suffered by New York Yankees Rookie right fielder Mickey Mantle during Game 2 of the 1951 World Series in Yankee Stadium all 3 autographed by the Yankee Hall of Famer. Mantle has signed all 3 of the photo images in 7-8/10 looking black ink. Photo is beautifully framed along with the original wire photo caption from the back describing the events of the injury and a ticket stub to that game all double matted to a size of 19" by 22 1/2".
Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
