Presented here is a fabulous complete set of every single Roberto Clemente Topps base card issue, from his iconic rookie in 1955 to his final card produced posthumously in 1973. Every card is graded by either PSA, SGC or Beckett. The cumulative value based on current market prices is close to ten grand, but that does not take into account the intrinsic reward gained by acquiring the whole set in one fell swoop, which otherwise could take years to complete in mid-grade form. The set comes from the personal collection of a longtime Pittsburgh Pirates fan and devout Clemente worshipper, who has also consigned a few other Clemente gems to this auction.
