The central object of this elaborate 18" x 22" framed display issued by the Highland Mint is an outstanding Honus Wagner personal check executed on July 5th 1920 entirely in Wagner's hand. Wagner's strong "John H. Wagner" black ink signature rates 8-9/10. The check itself has a vertical fold line and a small border tear at top but is otherwise in great shape. The check is surrounded by a classic image of Wagner a pair of 24k gold overlay medallions representing the Pittsburgh Pirates (Est. 1887) and a descriptive card issued by the Highland Mint. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
