The New York Yankees 1953 World Series victory capped an amazing run of five consecutive World Championships for baseball's most storied franchise breaking the record of their 1936-1939 predecessors. From that historic 1953 season comes this exceptionally clean unused OAL (Harridge) ball bears twenty-eight signatures of 1953 New York Yankees team members. Scripting has been placed mostly in blue ballpoint and reflect "8-9" quality. Includes: Bauer Berra Bollweg Carey Collins Ford Gorman Houk Kraly Lopat Mantle Martin McDonald McDougald Miller Miranda Mize Noren Raschi (s/s) Renna Reynolds Rizzuto Sain Schallock Silvera Stengel (Mgr) Triandos and Woodling (s/s). A beautiful and quite complete clubhouse-free example of one of the most desirable Yankees team balls of the era.
