The great Hank Aaron was the longtime MLB home run leader with 755 round-trippers to his credit. He played the majority of his career with the Braves (Milwaukee and then Atlanta) and was named an All-Star 21 different times during the course of his 23-year career. This lot features four separate items autographed by the Hall of Fame slugger including a 1974 style Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection Atlanta Braves home jersey that includes special embroidery calling out many of Aarons personal statistics including home runs (755); hits (3771); runs scored (2174); and RBI (2297). Aaron signed the jersey on the front in blue marker which has started to bleed slightly into the fabric. The second piece that he autographed is a pretty scuffed up OAL (MacPhail) baseball that he signed in blue pen and added the inscription: Best Wishes. The third piece to the autograph puzzle is a two-tone (red and blue) Cooperstown Collection Milwaukee Braves cap (size 7 ¼) that Aaron signed on the top of the bill in black marker. The fourth and final autographed piece comes in the form of a 34 long Adirondack Hank Aaron professional model bat. Aaron signed the barrel of the bat in blue fine-tip marker right next to his engraved name. This is a fine collection of signed baseball memorabilia commemorating one of Major League Baseballs most iconic names.
