If you saw the movie DINER, set in Baltimore, you know about the famous "Football Test." There is a classic scene which Eddie Simmons, played by Steve Guttenberg, presents his fiancee, Elyse, with a 140-question test on the history of the Baltimore Colts. Elyse must pass the test as a condition of marriage.
Well, the answers to many of those questions had to have been the players represented on this group of 11 single-signed baseballs.
The players are Johnny Unitas, Jimmy Orr (inscribed with #28 1961-1970 Baltimore Colts), Bubba Smith (signed as Charles Bubba Smith), Lenny Moore (inscribed with #24), John Mackey (inscribed with Balt Colts #88 HOF 1992), Ted Hendricks (inscribed with HOF '90), Gino Marchetti, Tom Matte (inscribed with Colts 41), Jim Parker (inscribed with 77), Art Donovan and Raymond Berry.
All JSA LOA except Orrr is Beckett.
