Presented in this lot is a high-grade 1928 Philadelphia Athletics team signed baseball including 19 signatures total with Connie Mack and Tris Speaker on the sweet spot. The Official National League baseball remains in excellent condition and features multiple Hall of Fame autographs all signed in blue fountain pen. Notable signatures include Ty Cobb, Jimmie Foxx, Eddie Collins, Al Simmons, Connie Mack, Tris Speaker, Walter French, Joe Hauser, Ike Powers, Joe Bush, Bing Miller, Cy Perkins, Jimmy Dykes, Joe Hassler, Ossie Orwoll, Mule Haas, Sammy Hale, and Caroll Yerkes. The 1928 Philadelphia Athletics recorded 98 wins and 55 losses, finishing in second place in the American League.
