Group of 4 San Diego Padre team signed baseballs all from the collection of Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage.
1984 National League Champion San Diego Padres (2) - ONL(Fenney) Baseballs. First ball signed by 27 players. They are: Bevacqua Bochy Booker Brown Chiffer Dravecky Flannery Garvey Gossage(HOF) Hawkins Jones Kennedy Lefferts Lollar Martinez McReynolds Ramirez Sherry Show Summers Templeton Thurmond Virgil Whitson Wiggins 2 unidentified. A CLUBHOUSE Dick Williams is also present on the sweet spot. The 2nd ball has 25 players. the same group as before including Gwynn(HOF) D. Williams(HOF)(SS) and a duplicate Garvey but no Bochy Chiffer Martinez and Templeton. Both have 8-10/10 mostly blue ink signatures on rubbed up looking baseballs.
1986 San Diego Padres (2) - ONL(Fenney) Baseballs. First ball signed by 28 players. They are: Asador Bochy Boros(SS) Cisco Dravecky Flannery Garvey Gossage(HOF) Green Gwynn(HOF) Hawkins Hoyt Iorg Jones Kennedy Kruk Lefferts Martinez McCullers McReynolds Nettles Roberts Show Stoddard Templeton Thurmond Walters 1 unidentified. The second ball has 29 players the same 28 signatures along with Oyler. Both have 8-10/10 mostly blue ink signatures on whitish baseballs.
