Great looking Lafayette watch given to New York Yankee Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage for being named American League Player of the Week for 8/28/73 through 9/3/78. On the watch face is "Player of the Week" and the American League logo along with a tiny ball player who moves around the face. On the back is inscribed "Rich Gossage August 28 - September 3 1978". Also present is "Lafayette Watch Co. Base Metal Swiss Made 8030". Watch comes with the original genuine leather band does run and appears to have never been worn. Comes in the original Lafayette case with the original box it came in from MLB. Beautiful condition watch.
