American Baseball Cap Size 7 1/4" Pittsburgh Pirate batting helmet game worn by Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage during his one year with the Pirates 1977. Gossage had a very good year in Pittsburgh winning 11 with 26 Saves and a miniscule 1.62 ERA. He was also named to the National League All-Star team. Batting helmet display tremendous game use with numerous nicks and scratches and has been signed and inscribed on the top of the black bill in 8/10 overall silver felt tip pen by Gossage "Goose Gossage 1977 G. U. BATTING HELMET".
