A collection of two awards presented to 26-year veteran George Blanda. The Bobby Lane Award is on a wooden base which measures 11” x 17” x 7/8”. A photo of Bobby Lane is affixed to the wood base along with engraved panels reading “Presented only to Championship Hall of Fame Quarterbacks” and “GEORGE BLANDA”. The Frank Leahy Award is on a wooden base measuring 9” x 12” on which a brass medallion with the likeness of Leahy is mounted. A brass plaque is affixed below proclaiming “1974 FOOTBALL AWARD TO GEORGE BLANDA “A” MASTER”. Both plaques show light surface wear and scuffs from storage. LOA from the Blanda Family.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
