Presented here is a gorgeous Babe Ruth single signed baseball with a beautifully-stroked black ink autograph perfectly centered and balanced on the sweet spot. We rate it a 7-7.5/10 in strength and eye appeal. The "Official League Ball" ball (made by Gopher Athletic Supply Co.) remains in fine overall shape as well (EX/EX-MT), with a nice off-white color and just a few toned spots, none of which detract from the lovely aesthetics of Ruth's auto. The only real blemish is a backwards C-shaped bubble in the leather next to the manufacturer's label on the complete opposite side of the unblemished sweet spot. For many, a Ruth "single" of this quality would constitute the cornerstone of one's collection. For those with a broader interest in purely iconic pieces of Americana, it could serve as the entirety of a baseball collection unto itself. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (worthy of submission for auto-grade upgrade).
