An extraordinary framed original illustration titled "Another Eclipse," created by celebrated Washington Evening Star cartoonist Jim Berryman for Opening Day, April 14, 1936, and signed by an incredible 58 individuals, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the legends of the 1930s New York Yankees, who opened their season that afternoon in Washington.

Berryman's artwork depicts a giant baseball soaring through outer space and eclipsing the globe. President Roosevelt and Yankees manager Joe McCarthy both signed the ball in outer space, while Lou Gehrig's autograph sits perfectly in the center of the globe. Other legends on the piece include Tony Lazzeri, Red Rolfe, Red Ruffing, Bill Dickey, Myril Hoag, Monte Pearson, Johnny Murphy and Frank Crosetti, with additional stars of the 1930s Yankees signing across the globe. In all, there are a total of 58 signatures on this incredible piece.

Berryman has also added a personal inscription at lower left: "With my sincerest hope that 'Lefty' Gomez will be really right this year."

The piece is displayed in a vintage black wood frame. Toning is present, along with some white abrasion and paper loss at the right side of the globe.

Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from both PSA/DNA and JSA. A one-of-a-kind artifact uniting a sitting President with the Yankees of baseball's Golden Age.
