Roberto Clemente green ink signature (10/10) spans the sweet spot of this cream-colored Eastern Airlines stamped baseball. Clemente had a brief professional affiliation with Eastern Airlines and in this capacity he signed a limited number of balls featuring the Eastern Airlines logo. The irony associated with this baseball is readily apparent to most baseball fans as Roberto Clemente would be killed in an airplane crash on New Year Eve in 1971 while flying relief supplies to Nicaraguan earthquake victims. In terms of condition and aesthetics this is among the finest Clemente singles the hobby has seen. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
