This offered ball is dual-signed by Emler Smith and Bill Wambsganss, former teammates with the Cleveland Indians. Elmer Smith (1892-1984) played ten seasons in the big leagues and was an important member of the 1923 Yankees World Championship squad, spelling Murderer's Row battery mates Babe Ruth and Bob Meusel in right field for the occasional day off. In just 184 at-bats, Smith batted .306 with 7 homers and 34 RBI for New York that year. His most productive stretch came with the Indians in 1920 and '21 when he batted .303 with a combined 28 HR, 188 RBI and 180 runs scored in a starting role, helping the Tribe to their first World Series title in 1920. Wambsganss is best remembered for having the only unassisted triple play in World Series history, accomplishing the feat at League Park in Game 5 against the Brooklyn Robins.

The Official Little League baseball (EX) is lightly toned and has both signatures in faded ink on the same side panel. Smith (5-6/10) is much more legible. Rare to find such a ball with Roaring Twenties teammates, one of whom was a key contributor in pinstripes. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
