Beautiful lot of 7 Springfield Hockey Association checks from 1964-65 signed by Hockey Hall of Famer Eddie Shore. Shore was the longtime owner of the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League. Shore a rugged defenseman played for the Boston Bruins from 1926 thru 1939 finishing briefly with the New York Americans in 1940. He was League MVP four times and in 1998 was ranked #10 on The Hockey News' list of the 100 Greatest Hockey Players. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1947. Strong 8-9/10 blue ball point pen signatures. Checks themselves in great condition.
