Offered here is a striking single-signed baseball in nearly perfect 9-10/10 black marker from Hall of Famer Edd Roush. With the Cincinnati Reds from 1917 to ‘26, the left-hand hitting Roush never batted below .321 and was a key cog in the team's World Series triumph over the Black Sox in 1919. He won two NL batting crowns in 1917 and 1919, but his career-best average came in 1921 when he batted .352. During the Dead Ball Era, he led the league in slugging (.455) in 1918, doubles (41) in 1923, and three-baggers (21) in 1924, while having perhaps the strongest arm of any outfielder in baseball. This ONL (Giamatti) ball exhibits light soiling/toning allowing the bold autograph to present beautifully on the sweet spot. Includes LOA from JSA.
