OAL(Johnson) BB signed probably in the early 1920's by Babe Ruth and 8 other players all of whom began major league play before 1920. All have signed on side panels. The other players are: Henry Courtney(1919-1922) Ed Holly(1906-15) Waite Hoyt(HOF)(1918-38) Joe Judge(1915-1934) Val Picinich(1916-33) Frank O'Rourke(1912-31) Sam Rice(HOF)(1915-34) and Al Schacht(1919-21). Overall 7/10 black ink signatures with the Ruth more 7-8/10 in quality. Ball has darkened somewhat over the years with some scuffing but signatures remain strong and readable. A non-baseball signature is also present on the sweet spot.
