Incredible early original photo of Michael Jordan defending Pearl Washington during a matchup between MJ's Tarheels and Washington's Orange in December of 1983. Photo is credited to the Syracuse Herald American and the overall quality of the original copy is immaculate. Young MJ photos are not as abundant as photos from his Bulls career and this true rarity is the only copy we've handled from this matchup. Measures approx. 8 x 10" and verso has a newspaper clipping and other editorial stamps and markings. PSA/DNA Encapsulated Type 1.
