Scarce early 1970s Neil Johnson Virginia Squires game worn ABA road jersey. Johnson received All-Star recognition in his first year with the Squires and quickly became a fan favorite as the team's enforcer. The size 42 Wilson jock tag is affixed on the bottom lefthand side of the jersey. "VIRGINIA" reads across the front of the jersey while "JOHNSON" is seen on a red nameplate on the rear. The player number "24" is featured below that. The lettering has been done in blue tackle twill and some puckering exists throughout. The jersey exhibits excellent signs of game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. A true rarity in basketball history.
