Interesting vintage circa early 1960's group of 3 Montreal Canadiens jerseys two home and one road from the same collection of early 1960's Chicago Bears items offered in this same sale. Jerseys were obtained at old Chicago Stadium and possibly might have been used by the Canadiens in practice when they were in town to play the Blackhawks. Manufacturer's tag in collar has a circular logo open at the bottom with half an "H" on one side and a "K" on the other. Large Canadiens red white and clue triple twill sewn on "CH" logos on fronts of each. Red home jerseys feature blue and white stripes across front and back and on sleeves. Same design about 3" on one and 4" on the other from bottom edge. 3'4 white band around collar. White road jersey has about 7" of red at bottom of each sleeve Red collar and band of red covering shoulders with red whiteand blue stripes about 4" from bottom edge. All display very heavy use. All FAIT AU CANADA/MADE IN CANADA and are MEDIUM. Made of 55% Rayon and 45% Cotton. Each of the 3 is missing the lace at the collar on front. Intriguing group.
