For golfing fans its difficult to overstate the significance of this cool lot with a pristine 1920s Spalding golf ball in its original box and a companion box of Morley tees also in its original presentation box. The Spalding Fifty ball is in sensational condition with Spalding 0 stamping on each side. It rests in the original tissue paper in a box that presents in Excellent fashion but is missing the top flap. Spalding corporate logos and data appear on all sides and the bottom; most intriguing is the 75-cent price tag which seems like a lot of money for the period for a single solitary golf ball. The Morely Button Manufacturing Co. of Boston Mass. produced the Yellow Improved Golf Tee set that comes in its original box which presents in Good condition but its top flap is present but separated from the box. The tees themselves perhaps startling to a modern golfer because of their curious configuration (see the photo) and diminutive 1 ¼-inch in length are in superior condition with four tees included in the box one of which seemingly might have pierced Mother Earth at some point over the last 90 years or so.
