Hall of Famer Don Drysdale made his Major League debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers during the 1956 MLB season. The 19-year-old righthander tallied a record of 5-5 in 12 starts with a 2.64 ERA and 55 strikeouts during his rookie campaign. This lot features his well-worn and game-worn circa 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers baseball cap. The size 7¼ Dodger blue KM Pro Cap manufactured by Tim McAuliffe Inc. shows noticeable game use and includes the stitched-in white B for Brooklyn on the front. An incredible piece of game-used baseball memorabilia from the dawn of Drysdales stellar career!
