Besides being a dominant Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Don Drysdale also enjoyed playing rounds of golf. Always a competitor he participated in the 1966 Bing Crosby National Pro-Am Golf Tournament at world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Course in northern California. This lot features an official Bing Crosby 1966 National Pro Am money clip that belonged to Drysdale. The well-worn clip which sports a 1921 silver dollar on the front positioned just above the raised blue-and-green 1966 Crosby Pro Am emblem has Silver Anniversary engraved on the clip side marking the 25th running of the prestigious tournament.
