The 2000 season was a historical one for Jeter because in the same season he won the All-Star Game MVP in Atlanta and the World Series MVP in his World Series win against the cross-town rival New York Mets. Not only was he the first Yankee to win the All-Star Game MVP Award but he became the only player to win the All-Star game MVP and World Series MVP Awards in the same season. Specially produced by Steiner Sports this Jeter pro quality bat featured silver foil stamping of the 2000 All-Star Game and 2000 World Series logos as well as special 2000 MVP barrel stampings. Jeter has signed the bat in silver sharpie and added a notation 1st time ever in MLB. A MLB Auth. hologram is affixed to the knob (MT 00220963) and a Steiner hologram is on the barrel.
