VG-EX PSA 4 Full Unused Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joe Louis and challenger Jersey Joe Walcott held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 5 1947. Louis came into the fight a heavy 10-1 favorite over the 33 year old journeyman fighter yet Walcott knocked Louis down twice in the first 4 rounds. Most observers felt Walcott won the fight but a 15 round split decision went to Louis resulting in loud booing from the crowd. Very clean front and back some corner wear. Indentations from a paper clip can be seen on both sides most noticeable on the back. The only ticket to this fight handled by PSA.
