Charles Arthur "Dazzy" Vance (D. 1961) was a pitcher for five different franchises in Major League Baseball in a career that spanned twenty years. Known for his impressive fastball, Vance was the only pitcher to lead the National League in strikeouts seven consecutive seasons. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955.
Government postcard signed in black fountain pen (grading "8") by Hall of Fame pitcher Dazzy Vance. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Vance has added the salutation "with best wishes" above this signature. The card has been addressed and mailed, with the postmark reading "Homosassa Springs Fla Nov 3 1949."
