Treat yourself to an Oakland Raiders AFL Legacy throwback helmet worn by running back Darren McFadden in two games during the 2009 season. McFadden went into battle wearing this Schutt helmet Sept. 9 (opening day) vs. San Diego Chargers and Nov. 26 at Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving day.
The helmet carries two unique characteristics the most obvious being the throwback Raiders logo circa 1963. The second is the '95' decal on the back to honor teammate Marquis Cooper a linebacker who wore #95 for the 2008 Raiders before getting lost at sea in a boating accident in March 2009. McFadden's #20 appears in black decals on the back and also hand-written in black marker above each earhole on the inside. There are hologram stickers from J.O. Sports inside each earhole. White padding on the inside of the helmet is complimented by an additional blue cushion pad. Significant game use primarily on the white padding inside. Top of helmet shows white mark on the black stripe. Aside from missing chinstrap all elements of the helmet are in fine largely as-issued and problem-free condition.
