In 1992 Dallas Cowboys rookie middle linebacker Robert Jones had a season to remember. Not only did he win the NFC Rookie of the Year award but he helped the Cowboys win Super Bowl XXX over the Buffalo Bills 52-17 to record the franchises third Lombardi Trophy overall. Jones playing in 15 regular-season games posted 108 tackles one sack and one fumble recovery. Offered here is the Super Bowl XXX Vince Lombardi Trophy that was presented to Jones as a member of the winning team. The eight-pound trophy stands 16 tall and sports a silver finish. The front of the trophy base sports the raised NFL logo surrounded by the engraved words reading: VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY SUPER BOWL XXX CHAMPIONS THE DALLAS COWBOYS. The left-side panel of the trophy is engraved with Jones name and uniform number (55).
Includes Letter of Authenticity from the consignor stating that he purchased it directly from Jones.
