It was the Tigers second touchdown in the final 32 seconds to steal the game from their bitter rivals. Many media members call the Kick Six the single greatest moment in college football history. It is certainly right up there with The Play when Cal beat Stanford in the often-talked-about 1982 Big Game.

Coach Malzahn in just his first year at Auburn had to feel as if the football Gods were watching over him last season. In the teams previous game vs. Georgia Auburn won on a 73-yard Hail Mary with 25 seconds left that is fittingly known as the Prayer at Jordan-Hare. Auburn went on to defeat Missouri in the SEC Championship to earn a berth in the 2014 BCS National Championship where they were the ones feeling heartbreak in a last-second 34-31 loss to Florida State. Auburn finished No. 2 in the final polls with a 12-2 record on the seasonnot bad considering the Tigers did not win a single SEC game in 2012. The incredible turnaround earned Malzahn every significant 2013 Coach of the Year Award. He became Auburn football royalty and forever a thorn in the side of the Crimson Tide faithful.

The trademark Under Armour sweater vest Coach Malzahn wears each game has become one of the most popular pieces of Auburn licensed merchandise for alumni and fans. Coach Malzahn donated his 2013 Iron Bowl sweater vest and undershirt to Managers on a Mission (MOAM) a non-profit organization based in Minnesota that supports the development of student managers at university athletic departments through service projects throughout the United States and faith-focused mission trips to orphanages in Africa. The proceeds from the auction sale of this item will go toward MOAM programs most of which are currently funded by donations from professional and collegiate coaches.
