Presented here is a large, handsome portait of "The Yankee Clipper", Joe DiMaggio, by renowned artist Rick Jackson. Jackson has a special touch with the brush on many themes, including athletes.
DiMaggio was a baseball and cultural icon and played the game with a combination of skill, elegance and class that few have matched.
While Mr. DiMaggio is among the statistical leaders for individual and team accomplishments, something about the way he carried himself was transcendent and sets him apart from most other athletes.
