Offered here is a rare 1983 race-worn “Skoal Bandit” jumpsuit from Italian racing legend, Teo Fabi.
The tan colored racing suit is covered in sponsor patches, but you won’t be able to find Fabi’s name anywhere on the outside of the suit. That’s because if you look at the inside flap, stitched on the left side of the zipper you can see the name ‘Teo Fabi’, but on the front of the suit, it's covered by an “Indeck” sponsor patch.
The consignor's father was part of the Skoal racing crew at the time and had the suit and vintage photographs in his personal collection.
Images of Fabi wearing the suit and an ungraded sports card accompany the item, and could be the perfect display piece for motor sports fans.
