Unused circa 1916 - 1920 "Play Ball" 8" by 10" notebook/tablet featuring a large black & white full body batting pose photo of Chicago White Sox tragic slugger Joe Jackson on the cover with smaller photos of his contemporaries Tris Speaker Edd Roush and Carl Mays. Jackson was banned from baseball following the 1920 season for being party to the throwing of the 1919 World Series. Jackson hit .375 with 14 Hits 5 Runs Scored 1 HR and 6 RBI to lead the White Sox in batting during the Series and played error free ball in the field. Notebook/tablet in great condition with a little toning near the bottom edge and a small upturn to the binding at top left corner.
