Offered here is a Charlie Gehringer autographed 1939 Detroit Tigers Mitchell & Ness throwback home jersey. The jersey was signed just underneath the Detroit Tigers logo in bold, blue ink to provide a great autograph with excellent eye appeal. The jersey includes a “Cooperstown Collection†patch denoting MLB’s throwback jersey line. The jersey also includes a unique 1839-1939 Baseball Centennial Patch on the left arm commemorating one hundred years since the “birth†of baseball. This patch would have been on authentic jerseys from 1939 as well. The jersey is in perfect condition and features a clean autograph from Hall of Fame (1949) Second Baseman, Charlie Gehringer. Accompanied by a PSA COA (Cert. #: F10949).
