When discussions center on cool vintage team names and logos, there are few in basketball that top the early Dallas/Texas Chaparrals. The team eventually became the San Antonio Spurs that we know today, who occasionally wear replicas of these Chaps masterpieces on "retro" nights. But here we have the original, real deal.
Fresh to the hobby from his personal archives, presented here is early ABA star John Beasley's stunning and colorful Sand Knit jersey and shorts.
These would be cool for any player, but the fact that John was a multiple time all-star, even All-Star game MVP, makes them even more special.
