Wade Boggs’ Hall of Fame career included 12 All-Star Game appearances, eight Silver Sluggers, and five batting titles. The baseball world was stunned when the Boston Red Sox legend joined the rival Yankees in 1993. In 1996 he helped bring a World Championship to New York, something he’d been unable to do in his decade in Beantown.

The offered game used bat is dated to that era of Boggs playing for the Yankees, with the labeling period being 1993-97. Boggs’ 1997 Louisville Slugger B349 bat shows outstanding game use with prominent ball marks and scuffs on its barrel along with a generous portion of pine tar on the handle. Boggs’ number “12” has been handwritten on the knob end in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in bold blue marker between the center brand and his stamped signature. This B349 has all the things you want to see in a Wade Boggs gamer. John Taube of PSA/DNA has graded it a perfect GU 10. Includes Beckett LOA for the signature.
