Ann Meyers played for the UCLA Bruins women's basketball team from 1976 to 1979. Meyers was the first player (men/women) to record a quadruple-double in NCAA Division I basketball history with 20 points 14 rebounds 10 assists and 10 steals. In 1980 Meyers made history again as the first woman to be drafted by an NBA team (Indiana Pacers). Although she didn't make the team as a player but she became a color analyst for the Pacers. In 1978 Meyers was the first player drafted in the Women's Professional Basketball League. Presented here are size 7 game worn Brooks shoes from her days at UCLA. The shoes show very light wear with some aging of the glue between the canvas and the rubber soles.
