Factory sealed never opened Charles O. Finley "Orange" baseball. Inside an untouched experimental orange baseball awaits. Colorful packaging with "The Official Charles O. Finley Baseball" logo on one side of the box and two baseball images of a player batting and sliding. Finley was a flamboyant often annoying never bashful owner who was never afraid to do things "his way". These baseballs were experimented with during exhibition games in hopes they'd be easier to see in night games but were never used in official competition because batters couldn't pick up the spin on the balls as they were pitched. This baseball represents one of Finley's many "innovations" that never got off the ground. A very cool piece of baseball history. Box in about VG-EX condition.
