Don Buse was a 13-year veteran of the NBA splitting time between the ABA’s Indiana Pacers for five seasons before migrating (with the team) to the NBA. In addition to the Pacers he also wound up playing for the Phoenix Suns Portland Trail Blazers and the Kansas City Kings. This lot features a very rare style Indiana Pacers (ABA) Don Buse autographed rookie-era game worn road jersey.

The dark blue polyester jersey shows moderate wear and reads “INDIANA” across the front in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the garment. Proper Wilson [size] 42 manufacturer's tag exists on the front left tail complete with washing instructions. The Pacers long yellow strip winds itself up and around one side of the jersey and continues down the back. An accompanying white and second yellow stripe carry on down the right side of the jersey. Buse’s uniform number “10” appears on the front and back in yellow on white tackle twill. A separate blue satin nameplate is sewn onto the shoulder area and reads “BUSE” in white tackle twill letters. Buse has signed the front of the jersey on the number “1” in blue ink. Signature is strong and quite legible.
