Wilt Chamberlain is arguably the best basketball player and greatest physical specimen that the NBA has ever seen. With his 71 stature during his playing career from 1959-1973, he was often the tallest player on the court, able to dominate any opponents that got in his way. The list of accolades and records go on-and-on anywhere from his unbeatable 100-point game to averaging 50.4 PPG for an entire season. Chamberlain was a one-of-a-kind player in the NBA and we wont be seeing anyone as dominant as he was in the near future. Offered here is a fresh to the market and extremely rare circa 1953-55 original photo of Wilt Chamberlain during his high school days at Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The horizontal photo titled, The Dipper Takes a Jumper features Wilt releasing the ball on a jump shot from the left side of the court. The photo is in excellent condition and shows Wilt in the rare setting of being outside of the paint. Chamberlain appears to be towering over his teammates and competitors alike as the crowd stares in awe in the background. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA as Type 1 Authentic (Certification #: 84178442).
