Directly from the family estate collection of Barney Stein comes this large-format 11" by 14" original photograph of Hall of Famer Pee Wee Reese and teammate Pete Reiser diving headfirst, perfectly in sync, toward a second base bag presumably during Spring Training or at team photoshoot, circa 1946-48 (when the two played together). The image brilliantly captures both of their facial expressions as they grimace for the dirt landing in their Brooklyn Dodger unis. Certainly one of the more playful shots you'll find of 'Dem Bums giving true meaning to the "Boys of Summer."

This crystal-clear black and white original photo in pristine condition was printed off the original negative from the famous Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. It has been professionally framed with a lovely white matting inside a thick wooden border (made of ash like most baseball bats). This exact framed photo was on display as part of the Barney Stein Photo Collection exhibit in 2001 at the Frick Art and Historical Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. (Certificate from this exhibit included on reverse side.)
