Impressively scarce circa 1940s Triple Crown winner 'Whirlaway' original photo with Trainer Ben Jones at Arlington Park in Illinois. The original photo has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA as a Type I photo and presents nicely in their jumbo holder. The photo features a clear image of Ben Jones with his prized horse upon their arrival at Arlington Park. The verso of the photo reads "Ben Jones, trainer for the Calumet Farms, watches the "wonder horse" Whirlaway, upon its arrival at Arlington Park today (Saturday)." describing the depiction of the image. A true rarity in excellent condition. Perfect for any horseracing aficionado.
