When it comes to Honus Wagner, his T206 card is the hobby's Mona Lisa and garners nearly all headlines, but collectors are keenly aware of how special a single signed baseball from the legendary Pirates shortstop can be. Offered here is a lovely example on a vintage Reach "Official League" baseball, which the Flying Dutchman has elegantly autographed just west of the sweet spot in 6/10 black fountain pen. The ball exhibits some spot toning with a soft patina throughout, allowing Wagner's signature to display quite well. The Reach manufacturer stamps remain strong and legible. For those building the ultimate collection of singles from the inaugural Hall of Fame inductees, here's your cornerstone. In spite of his graciousness and relatively long life, few Wagner singles like this exist in the hobby. Includes full LOAs from JSA and PSA/DNA.
