An impressive group of 1940s autographed government postcards that all remain in good to excellent condition and feature a plethora of Hall of Fame ballplayers. The collection is all addressed to the same person and was collected during the mid to late '40s. Dark ink and beautiful penmanship exist throughout the collection.
Included autographs are as followed: Sammy Angott, Earl Averill, Jim Bagby Jr., Neal Ball, Max Carey, Jocko Conlay, Lou Boudreau, Leo Durocher, Bob Feller, Charles Gehringer, Joe Jackson (Wife's Handwriting), Ralph Kiner, Dutch Leonard, Freddie Lindstrom, Harry "P-nuts" Lowrey, Bob Meusel (x2), Johnny Mize, Wilcy Moore, Stan Musial, Charles Phillippe, Al Schoendienst, George Sisler (x2), Duke Snider, Billy Southworth, Tris Speaker, Allie Strobel, Bob Thompson, Henry Thompson, Ed Walsh, Eddie Watkins, and Johnny Vander Meer.
Every autograph has been authenticated by either JSA or Beckett Authentication Services.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. If you would like your items shipped in a different method, such as UPS/FedEx Next Day or UPSFedEx 2-Day, you must contact our Post Sale Services Manager Veronica Rodriguez by emailing customerservice@scpauctions.com to discuss alternative shipping instructions.
