This lot features a toned and shellacked circa 1940-41 Official American League (Harridge) baseball that boasts in black ink the signatures of both Connie Mack (on the sweet spot) and Howard Ehmke off to the right. Mack the longest-serving manager in Major League Baseball history was a five-time World Series champion (1910 11 13 29 and 30). Ehmke meanwhile is best known for being the surprise starter who won Game 1 of the 1929 World Series for the Philadelphia Athletics at the age of 35. Both signatures are in outstanding shape and rate 7-8/10 in our book!
Each autograph comes with full LOA from JSA (#Y96271). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
