Listed at No. 10 on The Ring's list of all-time heavyweights and No. 7 among its Top 100 Greatest Punchers in 1950 the Associated Press voted Dempsey as the greatest fighter of the past 50 years. With that kind of resume comes this spectacular pair of Spalding gloves attributed to the great champion. The Spalding label appears on the inside of the right glove; both are largely intact but the right does have some major tearing around the wrist and thumb area. Gloves reveal genuine usage; orignal laces are intact and without incident. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Helms/LA 84 Collection.
