Perennial National League champions throughout the 1950's the Brooklyn Dodgers were among baseball's most beloved teams their local fans affectionately embracing the club's "Bums" image. Presented here is a vintage Dodgers jersey signed by no fewer than 43 Flatbush staples from that memorable decade (as well as a few earlier Dodgers principals). The light-blue flannel garment boasts "Dodgers" across the chest in blue tackle twill with a lengthy paraph accenting the script-style mascot name. In like fashion "18" is sewn to the back and blue piping surrounds the neck button path and sleeve endings. The blue-marker scriptings are arranged vertically throughout the front of this replica apparel. The display item presents as EX with remnants of a "Wilson" tag within the cotton-lined collar and a few scattered stains on the lower frontnone of which affect the powerful signatures.
