From one of his best seasons as a Green Bay Packer comes this 1995 Brett Favre game worn helmet straight from the team equipment manager that is also signed and inscribed by the Ole' Gunslinger himself. The 1995 season marked the first of Favre's run of three straight AP Most Valuable Player awards. He would lead the Packers to seven division championships (1995 1996 1997 2002 2003 2004 and 2007) four NFC Championship Games (1995 1996 1997 and 2007) winning two (1996 and 1997) and two Super Bowl appearances winning one (Super Bowl XXXI). He holds the following NFL records: most career touchdown passes most career passing yards most career pass completions most career pass attempts most career interceptions thrown most consecutive starts and most career victories as a starting quarterback. In 1995 he threw for 4413 yards - the highest single-season total of his illustrious career.
Brett has added his signature and number '4' with the inscription "Game Worn" in black marker on the left side of the yellow Riddell shell. Inside the shell '4A' is marked in black pen by both earholes (twice on the right) with Favre's no. '4' sticker and size 7 5/8 label on the right. The top interior has a unique extra pad and additional Styrofoam for protection. Two of the traditional cushions have come loose on the left side likely from all the punishment Favre would take in and out of the pocket. The shell of the helmet has all the characteristics of a true gamer of a quarterback with scratches dirt and other markings not even Brett can recall. Aside from the missing chinstrap the helmet is largely as-issued in problem-free condition.
Comes with an letter of authenticity from the Green Bay Packers equipment manager as well as photo provenance from the signing session.
